Manicomio is located in the calm Duke of York Square, just off the King's Road at the Sloane Square end in Chelsea, London. The building was the former military asylum of the Duke of York barracks hence the name which translates from the Italian for asylum or mad house.
Apart from the world famous shopping opportunities on the Kings Road, nearby is also the Saatchi Gallery, Royal Court Theatre and Cadogan Hall.
